Expanding care in our communities
Emanate Health is focused on growth and development to better care for the one million people that we serve in the San Gabriel Valley. The organization has embarked on a journey to transform the consumer experience, deliver on consumer expectations for quality health care, and expand on-demand access to meet consumer needs.
Construction documents are complete for the Queen of the Valley Hospital Emergency Department and Inter-Community Hospital expansion and modernization projects. Documents will be submitted to state agencies for review and approval early this year with an anticipated construction start in fall of 2021. Similar expansion and modernization projects are underway throughout our health care system to help boost health care services in the community.
Emanate Health is moving forward with phase 1 and 1A of the master plan i.e. a ground-up 2-story 60,000 square foot building that space program will include a new 60 bed Emergency Department on the 1st floor and 24 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the second floor as well as a 60,000 square foot Medical Arts Building II (MAB II) with an Ambulatory Surgery and Cancer Center on the 1st floor and Infusion Center and 1206D hospital based clinics on the 2nd floor. Included in the MAB II development is a new 4-story 400 space parking structure.
Although the hospital campus will be very busy with construction related activity over the next two years, it is all part of Emanate Health's journey to transform the consumer experience by increasing bed capacity as well as bringing cancer treatment and other specialties to the local communities served by Emanate Health.
Construction start for the structures is scheduled for Spring of 2021. As our vision states "we are an integral partner in elevating our communities' health," and we are one in that vision.
Future Emanate Health Urgent Care Center
With the purchase of a building in Glendora, Emanate Health set into motion the development of its first urgent care center in the community. The site is located on the corner of Route 66 and Amelia Avenue. The urgent care center will offer valuable health care services in the community and strengthen Emanate Health's presence in the greater Glendora area. The project is expected to break ground in 2021.
