When a child needs medical treatment, it can be a stressful time for the whole family. Whether it's an outpatient procedure, inpatient care or help in an emergency, you can count on Emanate Health's pediatrics team to provide expert care in a comfortable, family-friendly environment.
Expert pediatricians and pediatric nurses
Our pediatricians and certified pediatric nurses are specially trained to care for children of all ages.
Other important members of our team include our child life specialists, who interact with children and families to provide education, support and therapeutic interventions that can help children and teens better understand their illness and treatments.
A dedicated pediatrics unit
Our pediatrics unit at Emanate Health Queen of the Valley Hospital offers care for everything from minor injuries to serious illnesses, traumas and post-operative recovery.
We believe that children recover faster when they have the love and support of their families close at hand. That's why we allow parents 24-hour visitation and have a place ready for one parent to stay overnight at the child's bedside.
Pediatric emergency care
If your child has an emergency, you can count on our skilled professionals to be available day and night.
We've earned Los Angeles County's approval for the care of pediatric emergencies. In addition to our team of expert emergency doctors, we have a skilled group of registered nurses (RNs) and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) who have all had additional training in pediatric emergencies and continue to receive education on the latest in pediatric care.
