The campaign
Emanate Health—the largest health care system in the region—is redefining what health care looks like for the one million people that we serve in the San Gabriel Valley.
Inter-Community Hospital in Covina, Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina and Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora are building on our successes of the past and investing in the future to enhance care.
The community hospital around the corner has grown up to become the largest, integrated health care system in the area.
From life-saving heart and stroke care to men’s health and women's health to the region’s largest birth center with expert care in our NICU for at-risk newborns, Emanate Health is reimagining what quality care should be at every stage of life.
Emanate Health’s $25 million comprehensive campaign is the first fundraising effort as a regional health care system and an opportunity for members of the community to make a financial gift to enhance the level of care provided in their community.

The Campaign for Emanate Health
Where { redefining health care in the San Gabriel Valley } comes from
Emanate Health is literally redefining what health care looks like in the San Gabriel Valley.
It's a bold statement and one that challenges me and our staff to reimagine how we're going to address the future health care needs of a growing and diverse community that continues to evolve.
This belief drives me each morning to live my day building the best possible health care system for our communities.
As the President & CEO of Emanate Health, I have a bird's-eye view of what's happening in our health system and I’m profoundly encouraged by what I see.
With new facilities, technology and medical talent, the future is truly bright for Emanate Health as we experience a renaissance that is redefining what health care looks like in our region for generations to come.

Priorities for investment
Modernization and Advanced Technology
Emanate Health is proud to announce that it is investing over $200 million in modernization and expansion projects throughout the system. These projects are critical to upgrading facilities and equipping them with state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient care and improve patient outcomes.
Meeting Community Needs
Emanate Health is recognized for its community partnerships and honored for its positive impact on community health. We are advancing preventative care services that include screenings, check-ups, and patient counseling to prevent illnesses, disease, or other health problems, because the best way to solve a problem is preventing it from happening in the first place.
A Secured Future—Endowments
Emanate Health is committed to building a bright future for our health care system by establishing a self-sustaining endowment to help us weather any economic uncertainty. Promoting financial sustainability at every turn ensures best-in-class care for our community.
Executive campaign chair and ambassadors
Lisa Fuerst
Executive Campaign Chair
“My husband, Mitchell, and I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and we’re committed to increasing access to health care in this community by providing the world-class care that they deserve. This opportunity truly excites me and I hope you will join us in supporting this important campaign.”
Rich and Gayle Jett
Ambassadors, Inter-Community Hospital
“My role as a campaign ambassador allows me to share the meaningful work of this organization. After a long career in banking, I challenge my fellow business leaders throughout the region to show their support for enhancing the health and wellness in our community.” – Rich Jett
Juan and Martha Soria
Ambassadors, Queen of the Valley Hospital
“I was raised by a single mother on welfare, and I received a lot from strangers. Generous hearts can do good things, so that’s what really motivates me now. I want to give back and hope others who have benefited do the same.” – Juan Soria
Mike and Sharon Starr
Ambassadors, Foothill Presbyterian Hospital
“I felt that I owed a great debt to the hospital for life-saving care that I could never fully repay. Volunteering my time and donating make me feel like I am giving something valuable back, and I hope others are moved to contribute in their own meaningful way.” – Michael Starr
Mayor Walt Allen
Ambassador, Hospice and Home Care
“This campaign allows me to honor my wife, Patricia, who received compassionate care at the Hospice. Whenever I visit, I stop by the room where she took her last breath to reflect on our life together. I want to ensure that other families also have access to such care.”
"Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make change." —Barbara Mikulski
